KETCHUP Finally complete!!!

Pick it up tomorrow. Went by today to check on it. Got some minor things to do like buffin, installing my new tails, etc.
I am so excited to get her back. Seems like its been forever. See pics below:

So, this is my.....feel good.....progress of fixin my smashed truck. (David, if this is in wrong spot please move it......) Help the challenged! :biggrin:

I will use this thread to keep updates on my progress of fixin o' KETCHUP back better than she was before.

1. Damage estimate complete (5300ish).
2. I get 4866.00 after my deductable.
3. Established contact with MANCHEX to buy the needed parts of his totaled (front end) SWB.
4. Established contact with body shop to get a quote on repairs
a. 1800 to fix everything needed with paint
b. 3200 to fix it all with a new paint job.

I am going with option a. Reason is that will give me 3Gs to get my S/C plus pay Carlos our settled amount for the tailgate, bumper, body pieces and X brace.

Here are some pics from today. Thanks again to Carlos (MANCHEX) for offering up the parts and saving me a shizza ton of money. Also to my buddy VAL (RAIDEN06BSP) for again lending a hand to get KETCHUPs broken pieces striped off.

i definitely doesn't look bad with the damaged rear bumper off. This will turn out to be a great thread to follow. So just the rear bumper and support was damaged? It doesn't look like it bend the bed at all.

it flexed the front of the bed. cover wasn't damaged except paint. bent the frame extenders, X brace, part of the end of the bed, and the left side of the frame near the end. All repairable.....

Honestly, I will ask him. But after my parts off his truck, he is junking it. He is tired of seeing it and tired of dealing with stripin and shipping stuff out. I will def ask him though cause he doesn't get on XRU much anymore.....

New tails. Little cheaper than I paid for them before. 85 and change shipped.

so what is it that you need? obviously tailgate and bumper...but are ur quarter pannels damaged?

good work btw, should be a quick fix IMO...damaged my bed in a pouring rain spin out... ordered OEM quarter pannel and bumper and got it color matched at my friends shop. swapped out the bedside and rear bumper in one day ..
