Ive had the truck since July and made four payments already.

My first thought was like most of you,"This is a HORRIBLE idea." But then you got me thinking... I've never added up the total amount I've spent on upgrades to the truck --- so I had to do it.

While it's not as bad as some, my wife wouldn't be happy to see the total at $9,300! :ahhhhh:As Jason said, most expensive upgrades were the blower, tonneau and MAPECU2. All that was nearly $6,000. Yikes.

While I can't remember the exact price for everything... But is probably between $9000-$10,000 invested in my truck. Not all of it from my pocket, and not all of it bought for the truck. For example my audio stuff has come from past vehicles. Out of the total invested I would say 90% is out of my pocket.

Group buys combined with used parts, have saved me a TON of money.

How Much $ Have You Spent on MODs For Your X-Runner? For the sake of the poll/thread, we're only going to count the amount you have ALREADY spent, not what you plan to spend in the future... We all "plan" to buy TRD superchargers & big brake kits but it doesn't mean we're really going to dish out the 5G's to do it..


Thus far i've spent a little over $5,000 on my truck (this includes a set of winter rims/tires that some may not count as a mod but my wallet wants it counted in the total).
