Came from a 2007. I spun it to make sure it's a true LSD and both sides spin in the same direction.
makes sense. Damn i have the 3.73. i believe xr's have 3.15. Its ok, if it ever blows i'll just invest in a detroit locker.
takes longer to bleed and once ya release pedal just suck in more air up the linesI just pulled apart my diff to re shim the clutch pack and it brought it right back to new. I'd like to get one of he helper springs you got to give it a little more bite. But I'm supper happy to be spinning two tires again!! It really wasn't that hard or time consuming to do either
A tip to anyone pulling their rear diff out use a bar or peddle depressor against the seat to push the brake peddle down a bit. That will close off the ports in the master and stop all your brake fluid from ending up on the floor without having to crush your flex lines.
Nash man I was looking at the stage two lsd kit from wier and will it work on our rear end. It removes the spring and use disk springs and a spacer
I do a lot drag racing I need them to lock up good. I run 295 or bigger tire.
I just ordered the stage 1 and nervous about installing it. U made it
Look to easy.
Well I'm done with the LSD. Just gotta put it back in the rear end and slide the axels back in. Wasn't as bad as I figured. My plates pretty much had no coating left to get off so. It's nice an tight now. Only advice I can give to make it Easyer is to make sure u line up the spring plate pins. Them sum b are tricky as f. That's the only thing I ran into that gave me a hard time. I broke one side of the long ones. Had to knock it out and replace it. But in the end everything came out good. I can't wait to get it back together. Two side by side black marks can't wait
