You guys that live in places with little or no snow are so lucky, I miss my summers wheels already... :frown:

I swapped out Jen-Neen's summer shoes for her winter boots today, better to be safe than sorry. And with the colder weather out here the last few days, the summers are useless anyways.

Last year was running a set of Camry 15" steelies and tires, but with the C2C kit this year, I couldn't use them. Sold that set to 'Go4Long', a newer member here with an 09 BSP. Put a set of snow tires on the stockers for this year.

For those of you that have to swap for the season, lets see your setups...

Last year (15" Camry Steelies, 215/70/15 Kumho KW19 Tires):

This year (Stock wheels powdercoated gold, 235/50/18 Kumho KW19 Tires):

Damn, it sucks to see your X that way.

It was so clean with the other setup.

My winter setup is the same as my spring, summer, and fall setup:dontknow:

Those of you that do drive your X in adverse conditions you guys got guts. More than I do, I would buy some POS 4x4 or AWD car to drive in the winter. Luckily the worst weather I get is rain coupled with bad drivers.

I did stock tacoma 16's last year but really want to run the factory 18's this winter. Where did you buy your new tires? Is the footprint much less than stock? Is that the most narrow tire that will fit the stock rims?

Yeah, I'm thinking I need to swap out soon - I have a spare set of stockers though...

Where'd you get the Kumho's from?

i dont have pics but i run a set of 15 steelies from tire rack and a set of cooper atr tires. i bleieve ther 215/70r15 same dia. as stock. the rears are at half tread and will be put on the front this season.. then when spring comes i get a smoke show and 2 more 50 dollar tires(my price). its so sucks loosing all the handling and smooth ride. along with all traction. going from nittos to those tiny guys mean i can break em loose when i hit third on a cold morning.

they are not on yet and wont be for a while whe normally dont see snow until late next month or later. but the loses are well worth it. i made it through 8 inches of powder last winter and didnt spin once. oh and i have 180 lbs of sandbags in the rear. which i will remember to tie down this year. last year o bent the tail gate.

I got them from Urban Expressions Wheel and Tire here locally, the owner/operator is a buddy of mine, I also got my summer wheels from him for cheap. PM me and let me know if you need a set of tires, I'll give you his contact info, he's given me and some homies some good pricing on tires and wheels...

I bought the tires locally from a shop here in town... they footprint is not much smaller that the stock tires, very slight...

Was at a local hobby shop today looking at some RC car parts, and something came to me while looking at one of the race RC cars. Walked around to another section of the store and found some red pinstriping, and decided to make my winter wheels a little less boring, and a little more me. Thats what happens when I've got some time on my hands, I think about little things that I can do to my truck to make it more me.

After a careful hour, heres what I ended up with, I know its subtle, but thats what I'm all about:
