Grumpy's 2007 SWB X-Runner
The Story behind the Ride:
[FONT="]When I first saw pre-production X-Runner back in ' 04, I knew I wanted one. Sexy body with those performance spec, its hard to not want one...but it wasn't my time yet. Fast forward to ' 07, time to purchase a new vehicle, Went shopping for XR, found RR at a local dealership, but I wanted SWB. They found one at the shipping port, but another dealer got a dibs on it. Many phone calls later, they agree to traded inventory. Settle on the price and the truck was delivered.
After the paper work is finish, but before SWB got delivered. I'd ask the salesman if I can test drive the RR on the lot. He said sure! 15 mins test drive and a good romp on the highway, I knew I made the right choice.
Many thanks goes out to my girl for putting up with all my automotive related activity. Not getting grief certainly make this hobby very enjoyable! Everyone on this site, y'all make this place what it is today. Houston crew for putting it down...not forgetting LA-X & DFdub. Last but certainly not least, big up goes out to Klint. For creating a place where like-minded enthusiasts can come together. Long live XRU.
