New from Stockton CA

Hey guys im from northern CA and im currently in the hunt for a blue xrunner. 05 would be best and the higher the miles the better as the truck would be cheaper. Ever since 2005 i been wanting an xrunner but for some reason ive always ended up with Srt4. Ive had every year Srt4 from 03 to the Csrt4 09..im ready to get the truck i been wanting so if anuone knowa of one in CA lmk modded or stock. Thanks guys i will be searching and reading for advice.

Try craigslist theres a bunch in Los angeles, me and my buddy once drove to san diego just to find the perfect S-runner.

Thanks guys i been looking on craigslist lately and nothing. i been reading that the clutch is bad? Whats the hwy miles u get from this truck?

a cople issues with tranny, and clutches here and there but thats only on some trucks

im pullin off about 20+mpg depending on how good i am:biggrin:

Close by me my buddys Dad had one for sale 95k and wabted 11k for it now that got the money hes not selling it no more

Plans for the x are i/h/e lower it alittle hid lights and that should keep me happy ill be commuting on it about 60 miles back and forth daily.

20+ sounds good enough for me.. And about Tranny and clutch problems lol i drive a neon so i mastered the Trans and clutch..

I bought mine from Arizona... It's hard to find a reasonably priced X-Runner out here. There's more in SoCal though... Just keep an eye on Craigslist, cars.com and autotrader.com

For the transmission problems, It's not as severe as it sounds... I have friends with 100K+ miles on their trucks with the original clutch. And I know of someone local who is on his 3rd clutch before 90K miles. But since i'm coming up on 83K miles with no issues I suspect the issue is not the truck, But the driver.
