Ok so new thread for we have everything set up now. Since the Xrunner and Tacoma world know us pretty well, we thought we'd make this an event for others to come and have a good time, and celebrate her 18th bday.

Event : Macda/Katies Birthday Party

Date : November 14th 2009

Place : Hanna Park ($3 entry fee per vehicle)

Time : 12pm

The park is full of things to do from bike riding on trials, hiking on trails, a large lake to canoe and kayak in , and tons of beach front land to enjoy the Atlantic ocean.

This will be a all day BBQ event, we will need to set up the list of things to bring if your going to attend.

Bring your bikes, kayaks, dogs, or whatever to explore the trails and water.

haha ok I'll marinate some chicken to throw on the grill, and bring a cooler of beverages soda, water, etc :top:

Sweet, sounds like we should have at least 10 people there.

On another note, I wasn't able to secure a specific hut for our group, so I was not able to pay for entry fee's in advance. It will still be $3 entry fee per vehicle.

Also if your going to be bringing a bike for the trails, make sure you have a helmet. We snuck by yesterday morning, but Im sure our luck will run out.

Are there any "hard" surfaces for Bikes or is it all Trails?.....

I don't think my Road Bike would handle the trails.....:biggrin:

There is a bit of hard road, and more hard packed stuff around the lakes.

sry i wont be able to make it though.. still workin on this friggin house every saturday. now we're in a time crunch bc it has to be finish by the first of the new year and i have to live there bc of tax credit etc.
