Hey guys, Finally got my boost gauge installed and we'll, Damnit haha....No boost. Won't go past zero. Vacuum is around 22-23 at idla...WOT is zero aka "0". Checked all connection/cupped for leaks and nothing. Ideas and options? How would I know if there S/C is just done for? I've had to fix tons of crap since I bought and thought it was finally running good. I never truly felt the boost was there in my eyes but I've never ridden in a boosted tacoma before so I don't know. It doesn't smoke like a blown turbo seals lol...I tapped into the hose off the BPV.

Yes sir....I actually had to purchase a new one so the one that came with it was FUBAR...I purchased the vortex one that comes with the kits as well. When I give it gas, the PBV functions properly....I never hear the blow through like a true BOV would sound but heard they don't make much noise.....

I don't understand how it could be making zero boost. If that pulley is spinning then that sc should be moving air. So either you have a MASSIVE boost leak (which would be easy to hear and throw all kinds of codes), a massive failure of the sc (meaning the pulley is spinning but the impeller isn't) or you either are tapped into a weird vacuum source or the boost gauge is no good.

Take the belt off and the intake tube and look into the unit and spin it by hand. This is extremely unlikely though. I've never heard of it happening to a rotrex.

Where is your gauge tapped into for its vacuum/boost source? A picture would be most helpful.

Where do you have your boost gauge tapped into?

Yeah I'm willing to bet that the vacuum source is coming from somewhere that isn't seeing boost somehow.

That just shows the Tee hose and one end of that source hose. Where is the other end of that source hose attached?

In that third picture above. That hose that you have your hand on, show me exactly where that is connected.

Gadget, that hose that is in my hand is my boost gauge hose. That is tapped directly into the hose coming off the BPV that goes into the other bigger hose.
