yea it has a 2.0 boxer with toyota d4 s direct injection. has 12.5 compression! their arguing over how the hell to go FI with that CR and complicated injection system. Id love to get one of these if TRD could make something to hit 260-280hp. Maybe it needs a URD FI kit! Make alot of money with a kit if this car takes off G. :top:

All depends on the mods. It sure does take alot of $ to make the X fast. If the 86 can make 280hp with aftermarket toys i'll be happy.

Considering Toyota owns 30% of Aisin, we'll probably see the same or a little brother of our crap box transmission. Hell Subaru can't even figure out that their 5spd manual transmissions are practically made of glass. We can only hope they got our memos.

I have been pretty excited about this car for quite a while, actually have a deposit down on the first one to hit our region....Production is said to be 1000 units to North America and hand made, I can't imagine these claims to be true, but who knows at this time with just leaked info.

Love the way they look, fit and finish will most likely be awesome....!!

I just cannot get over the HP / TQ ratings of this car, I am sure the aftermarket with follow soon after the car hits the show room floor, but I am seeing an awesome looking true sports car with NO BALLS...this equals a CHICK CAR in my book. most mini vans of today will give it a run for its money from a dig......I have a MR2 Spyder, awesome handling car / looks the part / NO BALLS AT ALL = CHICK CAR
