does the grillcraft lower grille come painted like i see in so many pics? or did you guys have to paint that center bumper portion? i really like that grill and im thinking about getting it. just wondering how the paint issue is cause i didnt see on the order form where it asked vehicle color.

^^^the MX series Grillcraft grills all come powdercoated black. As far as the paint on the bumper, are u talking about behind the black plastic piece that's just below the bottom grill? If so there's already paint underneath it from the factory

ya thats what i was refering to. just below the lower grill, stock its black plastic and i know you gotta take it off when you put the MX grill on. thats cool if its already painted underneath. why even put the black plastic if they spent the time painting it? looks better with paint than black plastic in my opinion! thanks man

I spent a week in Gulfport, MS and sometime when I was down their someone stole my stock grill they popped off the front center grill facade. Any of you with new grills have an extra one lying around.

That plastic piece actually keeps the bottom ground effects nice and tite to the bumper cover, without it it's loose but can be fixed by buying a new rubber strip that is used between the ground effects and the body panels. It has a sticky side to it and fits right into the crease left by removing the plastic piece.

Custom chrome-plated MX grille (top center and top corners), black powder coated MX grille lower bumper. The two-tone grille color package was chosen to compliment the paint colors on the truck.

The stock Toyota emblem was modified to fit on the top center MX grille.
