Beleive it or not the best tool we found to use at work to work sound deadening material into the small knicks and cranny space is floor or panels is this....
Use it with the palm of your hand and just roll it and push into those deep crevaces. :top:
This tip came from a audio shop we deal with all that time that does massive custom audio setups.
