when i bought the truck the guy did the HID reverse light mod (http://www.xr-underground.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=26880) but instead of securing the bulb with an o-ring he epoxied them into the housing. i would think there is a way to get the epoxy off but i didn't look into it too much. i think if you keep chipping away at it, it will eventually come out. so you can either install a HID kit and have green reverse lights or remove the HIDs epoxied in there and put the stock bulbs in.
