So I got my TRD S/C on my truck a few weeks back, but I just can't leave shit alone. So I've thrown together a little to-do list and ordered some parts. I'm sure folks have done this a ton of times on here and I was just curious if anyone had an feedback or dos/don'ts. Thanks!

Parts ordered(thanks Gadget!):
Innovate AFR and Boost guages + flexpod
URD fuel pump kit (walbro 255 LPH HP)
URD Spec-U headers w/the rear O2 simulators

And heres how I want this to go down:
Install AFR/boost guages for some baseline data - DONE
Fuel pump install
Dyno run with just TRD S/C and reflash - DONE
Headers install
Possible dyno #2

And for the future:
UCON order/install
URD Pulley upgrade (2.8 initially) order/install
Which would yall do first?

I'll probably stop there.. or maybe not lol. Thoughts?

Ben

It would be nice to see before and after dyno with new equal length headers. Many people would love to see that

I'll definitely try; just gotta find a decent shop on island

Looks like I'll be adding a cat-back exhaust; my right side borla just rotted off at the back of the muffler while driving around today. WTF??

This is getting really bad.. probably pass $7k on the truck before the end of the year. How do you people justify this?? lol

List looks good mate, BUT when you order your headers order these as well
http://urdusa.com/Exhaust-&-Headers...O2-Sensor-Extension-Harness/product_info.html

If you plan on pushing the boost and a UCON you need to put your WARF sensors in the collectors so the ecu reads all 3 cylinders of each bank rather than just one. Believe me it's easier to do it on install rather than later as I found out its a pain I the ass to get the bung out once its been heat cycled a few times.

Which also brings me to my next question, where do you want to put your bung for the a/f gauge? Are you keeping the stock y pipe?

Ahh, so the stock harness will only reach far enough to sample on one cylinder? I've only ever looked at the downstream ones. Thanks for the catch; I'll see if I can get them added to my order before it ships.

And Yeah, I'd definitely love to pull from all 3 cylinders for the AFR. I Do plan on getting a new Y pipe (currently looking at URD front to back), just don't have the funds to grab one yet. Does the URD Y Pipe allow you to pull data from all 6 cylinders where they come together? Or would being that far back mess up your numbers? Sorry, first time screwing with a lot of this stuff. Thanks again for the info

You have a long way to go!

You probably want traction bars and a drop kit also...I would wait for XII drop kit when they release it tho.

If you going to max out your trd s/c, i would look into the 7th injector...trust me boost is never enough.

Then you would want to look into a big brake kit cuz the stock brakes wont stop your trd s/c.

You should check out the member build section and see what these members are up to!

Then maybe a clutch kit...the urd twin disk looks like porn!

Some spark plug from urd also...you minus well give Gadget your truck to build! He stands behind his products!

It will go on and on..don't say I didnt warn you! :D

And my build experience....do the job once not twice...cuz it will cost you!

Oh and welcome to the dark side!

You have to get a new ecu now that you reflashed the stock one if you plan to get the UCon computer down the road. It won't work with a reflash ecu.

You been hanging out with Toronto's mayor........

You can certainly use the UCON with a reflashed ECU, brothermurderface is the first to come to mind who is....

As for the AFR bung if your going to put it in the stock y it will need to be before the cats which means it will only be reading one bank. When you get a URD y put it in the collector just before the catback exhaust bracket. Here is a pic of mine

Software programming. Similar in the fact that the X-1 could as well. Was just a different base Cal. I only bring up the X-1 because with your post, it seems that you didn't know it could either.

Alrighty, looks like I'll be pulling from one bank until the y-pipe becomes a reality.

Good news is the headers should be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully I can get to the fuel pump this week, then gauges/headers/dyno next week. Might have to have the shop do the header install since they'll be running the dyno anyway. I'd much rather do my own work, but haven't had time lately.

Huge thanks again for modifying my order Gadget, and thanks for shipping so quick. I've always had a great experience with customer service. URD has earned my business for the long haul

First dyno run complete! Do these numbers look normal for a stock truck with TRD S/C? I've got another run on Saturday after I install the headers..

The first run (lowest) was in 3rd gear, other 2 were in 4th.
