I just saw that a few gas stations got e85 in my area and have been saving up for the trd kit.. I've heard mixed things about the trd setup as far as hp and max hp ratings. I like the whine of the charger and want decent hp and driveability. I kno guys on here are partial to urd systems but I'm wanting info on the trd setup as far as hp ratings with e85.

That's pretty good numbers out of a trd blower on corn lol. Do you kno if that's a dump queen number or an actual driveabililty number? I could go for those numbers as a DD. I'be heard guys on here say the trd couldn't go past 340-350 whp...

That is in the tuning. He could add a good bit more timing since the E85 was in there.

A spot on tune is needed with E85.

Do they make a decent piggyback for our trucks without giving up your first born?? $1000+ seems a lik ridiculous for a management system.. no offense.

I mean I spent $650 on my last management system from my previous vehicle which was pretty fair but I can't see spending a grand on one.

My ProEFI 128 was $1850. Didn't include sensors, wire harness, or communication cable.

About $3200 when it was ready.

pick up one of the apr x1's that come up for sale every once and a while. just keep a look out on the forum. think there might be one or 2 for sale right now.... they usually go for around $800

I check the sale section from.time to time but they always seem to be gone by the time I get on. I saw a few sites had the map-ecu3 for like $650. I've heard good things about them from ppl who opted out of the icon and x-1.

The engine management system, whichever one you decide on, like the X-1 is worth the money. The only reason why I don't have one is because I am poor, student in school. I have seen some of the other guys that have one, really worth the money, might be the best item you can buy.
