TTC Bracket not flush on Composite Leafs

I just finished the install of the Composite Leafs with the TTC Traction Bars using the modified brackets and even though the TTC brackets are tight and flush under the axle and U-bolts, the forward part on the brackets are not flush up to the Composite leafs on both leafs. The brackets were installed new and are not bent.

Does anyone know if this is normal or if modified brackets have been made available?

No, It was on the ground.

I really wouldn't worry about it because the brackets are strait.

the actual bar is too long. either scew in the other end in all the way, or you will need to cut it to shorten it

Right, since the brackets have stayed straight, I'm not too worried. Just wondering if others with same set up have the same gap.
