4/23/11 Meet ~ 175 cars
4/30/11 Meet ~ 150 cars

Quaker Steak & Lube has great food and is open til 2am! Come to the meet and get some great food/drinks while your there! Mention you are with VA Rides and get 15% off your order!!

Directions – Take I95 to exit 130 towards Culpeper. Turn right into central park. Turn left at the light by Target. Follow the road straight to the next light. Go through the light and your right there!

Located in Central Park, right by I-95, this location is perfect with many gas stations and shops right around the area.

RULES

NO speeding through the lot.
NO burnouts
NO donuts
NO excessive noise (revving motors, loud music, etc)
NO drugs
NO alcohol
NO weapons
NO fighting

Remember if we want this meet to last, we need to be smart. So follow the rules. Throw away trash in a trash can and not in the lot. Don’t drive crazy leaving the lot, so it doesn’t reflect poorly on us. We want as many cars as possible, but we don’t need one or a small group of people ruining it for everyone else. While there will most likely not be a cop at the meet at all times, at any time there may be an officer in the parking lot. One or more may come by to check things out, but no one has to worry as long as we are behaving. If you do anything stupid, you can expect repercussions. And if someone is doing anything stupid, by all means tell them to stop. Don’t be a jerk, but just tell them to really think about if they want to ruin it for everyone. Also, VA Rides does not condone street racing so please do not attempt to set up races at the meet and DON’T post about meeting up to race at the meet. This is stupid and cops check facebook and see things like this. This makes the meet look very bad.

Damn...why couldn't they have meets there when I lived on RT17...that's like 2 mins away from my old apartment:argh:

Looks like a good turnout...I recognize some of the cars in those pics. I might have to make an appearance after work on Saturday:biggrin:

If I swing by, I'll give you a ring so I can figure out where your parked.

We also plan on helping out the community with things such as a canned food collection, a toys for tots cruise, donations to local charities, etc. There also is a donation box on the premises in the front lot that we encourage people to donate to. No one is obligated to do any of these things, but it’s nice to do and will help keep good relations with the community. More details on giving back to the community will be announced at a later time.

haha i know man. i live like 4 min away :rock:

we had about 90 cars the first night. considering it was about 40 degrees and there was a chance of snow, i was happy with that lol.

but yeah im one of the guys running it so ill always be one of the first ones there and ill be close to where i am in that first pic most likely.

I went tonight, me and Jeff were the first ones there (not including the cop parked in the far corner of the lot lol). I stayed till about 10 and their was already about 60 cars there --- mainly Honda boys, but there were some nice Stangs, SRT4's, and a turbocharged G35 coupe

Why not start it around 7pm, while the sun is still out? You would probably get a bigger crowd.

at the other meet someone posted on their facebook they were meeting at the route 17 lot to street race. so that night we had like 5 cops there. they called us a few days after the meet and told us we need to get a special use permit from vdot as opposed to just a verbal ok. this costs $100 and they could still say no. so we changed locations, and this location is actually much better.

and yep we changed it to 7pm starting tomorrow! you gonna come out?
