What happens to the drivetrain?

The gears are moving without lubrication which ultimately causes it to go boom...

That sucks, Some tow truck drivers really don't know what they are doing... When I worked for OPD and had to call A&B towing (our contracted tow company) to tow broken down police cars, I had to stop them when they were about to tow the police cars from the front... They always got mad at me even after explaining why you don't tow a RWD car from the front.

It happened to my son's GMC duelly. The driver did not chained the front wheels on the rack after my son told him to do so and it fell off when he hit a bump. It cost the towing company almost 2000.00 to repair the truck.
