What speakers are you running? Why?

The 10W7's SQ and SPL is surprising for a 10!!!!! Its a clean sounding sub and as a single 10 slams like two average 12s.

I paid 750 - 800$ for my sub and amp

Single 12' with 760 watt amp. Cheaper than jl 10w7 and 500/1 amp. Sealed quality. Nice:rock:

jl 300/4 powering jl xr comps in the front doors and ED7KU's in the custom enclosure. sounds really really good, and just shows how bad sound quality an ipod really is :thumpdown:. These speakers also have alot of midbass :top:

I picked up some Focal K2 Power for my taco. I read very good reviews and went and listened to them. I liked what I heard and was offered a good deal so I jumped. Previously I have ran MB Quart, Infinity, Alpine and Polk in my other vehicles. I think the Focals should be on another level.

The stocker's are pretty good if you put an aftermarket head unit to them. I use an alpine cda-9856. You can tweak the bass and treble settings for different frequencies.

I have a pioneer shallow mount sub waiting to go into one of those subxclosures (when I get some $$) :laugh:

10W7 sounds better IMO. I am not in it for a hippity hop boom boom sh!t fest I just like to chill and listen to music - 500W is more then adequate and is on the safe end of JLs recommended RMS for a 10W7.

I like how the 10W7 surround looks too.
