They have a custom turbo kit avaliable online with the Garrett ball-bearing. Some people are already running custom turbos, I'm sure they will post back later...

I'll just wait till later for turbo. Don't wanna blow the motor just yet

If you had the right supporting mods and the right tune I highly doubt you'd cause the motor any harm. Unless you cranked the boost...

The only difficult thing for turbo'ing the X would be the manifold. Everything else would be just like turbo'ing anything else.

Sorry for the hi-jack.. Are there any bottom end parts available for an XR ?

The thought of two big singles on a V-6 Would be badass

I think the manifold would be one of the easier parts to worry about.
Twins would be overkill(that's the general consensus) a properly matched single could easily get you 400hp. I wonder who will be the first to come out with a kit???? I wish I could have more down time on the truck:banghead:

You could go that route or piece together your own kit to your own preference. That seems to be everyone's choice at the moment

O I thought it was a custom traditional style turbo kit for the 05-07 V6 Tacomas:damnmate: I've never been a big fan of those Squires systems. I prefer my turbocharger under the hood.

Yeah, sorry about that didn't mean to get your hopes up...I don't know anyone that has the STS yet...i guess for now best bet is something you got to piece together

URD would be better. Squires system puts the turbo at the end of the tailpipe.
