OK,
So if we make this a 3 days event, we could do it here in Williamsburg to keep it away from Va Beach and the traffic.
I think we will go with the Sept Dates.
Here is a general Idea that I had
Cruise in Thursday night, just get some dinner and hang out for those who come Thursday.
Friday - Busch Gardens - It would be the perfect time of year for it and the lines on a Friday would be really short. I can look into a group rate for those interested. They are open 10-10 that day. Since it wont be crowded we can all stick together and that would be fun.
Saturday - I would book a shelter at the Jamestown Beach campground for a BBQ during the day
http://www.jccegov.com/recreation/parks/jamestown-beach.html. If anyone wants to do any mods, we can handle that at my house if needed. I would ask people to bring some type of food for the BBQ, but we can plan that later.
Saturday afternoon - Cruise the Colonial Parkway to Yorktown. This is an historic road and really nice scenery. its about a 20 min cruise.
Dinner Saturday - Yorktown Pub right on the York river. This place is a local gem with kick ass burgers and seafood.
Sunday - Breakfast at one of the many local pancake houses and hit the road.
pretty laid back and pretty simple. If you guys wanted to check out some of the other local historic stuff, that is always an option. Jamestown is a neat tourist place as well as Colonial Williamsburg. The Prime Outlets are also here if the ladies want to go shopping.
Whatta you think?
