Well, that is just a real disappointment.

APR owes me three warranty replacements and is seems that instead of getting me fixed up they are sneaking X-1 out retail? Is this for real?? Is this confirmed??

I'm gonna say this isn't completely true. But I could be totally wrong. I don't think APR would screw over their vendor clients for a single person on CT. But again, could be wrong.

I'm still debating selling my X-1.

Lol. With talk like that, it is pretty obvious. Then to correlate with the thread and comments in that thread recently, it is striking the the find, and pretty much tells the tale. Haha.

Who let the hat out of the cat??? o_O <Yeah, I know.

To add a little more fuel to the fire, I have heard many a rumor for quite a while that it is "Who you know," and thus "available" by that statement.

Only to those in the "Underground" or on the "Black Market" though. o_O

Truly sad if it is correct, goes against everything I learned in engineering ethics.

so what's our next best alternative if our x-1 craps out and it's discontinued? MAP-ECU3? custom haltech?

Wish they would just speak up about the issue...rather than building hype and losing loyalty.

Greddy Ultimate E-manage (triumph X is running that) ProEFI (like mine or the Pro48) & Map-Ecu3.

How easily tunable are those chips?

ProEFI is really easy, from first hand experience. Map-Ecu3 should be just as easy as 2 and Gadget is the master at tuning that in. Easy for shops as well.

No experience with the Greddy e-manage.
