who's waiting for 2013 flash and fit kit
totaled my 2008 trd 4.0l 4x4 lwb with super charger...just received new 2013 of same build plus entune. i have moved most of my accessories to new truck but need reflash and fit kit before s/c can be put on...had it removed and boxed up and it is just waiting for software...anybody else waiting...- zzchipster

Will TRD S/C change exhaust sound?
my 2013 with17 miles on it seems a lot louder that 2008 with sc that was totaled. i cant move blower to new truck until flash is out, but it sure seems louder under heavy acceleration. but no sc whine...- zzchipster

Best place to buy TRD S/C...
its been awhile, but it was whichever trd supplier had the best price. i went in and asked to see the parts manager and he got real close to the online price. my installed price was approx $4750 out the door.... oh, last week i totaled my truck...someone rear-ended me while waiting to make a...- zzchipster

possibly going from 2006 X to 2013 dubcab
i just totaled my 2008 trd dclb w /sc and will order new 2013 replacement today, i hope. i talked to service manager yesterday and he felt all was good, maybe a fit kit required...he was gonna check on it.- zzchipster

Normal TRD Supercharger Noise??
my factory installed trd sc rattles and whines. when started it rattles a bit and when u are driving and accelerate just moderately or when u load it up it whines. i will be in katy this weekend. there is a card/disclaimer in the box that discloses all this.- zzchipster

truck running a little hot
checked both coolants...full and intercooler pumping fluid...went for ride this pm then came home and let idle for 10 minutes and it didnt overheat...stays in dead middle of gauge...101 outside...yestersay wasnt first time to notice engine running a little warm...- zzchipster

truck running a little hot
i have noticed my truck running a little hot when sitting stopped or in virtually stoped traffic. the temp gage swings to about 3/4 of the way to hot. you notice the ac go warm first. it i put in neutral and rev to 2k the needle drops quickly. i am wondering if the intercooler on my trd sc 4.0...- zzchipster

Trd blower ????
i checked mine after dealer install and it was much tighter than hand tight. i used large channel locks and it loosened right up. then just snugged down a bit.- zzchipster

TRD SC Installation @ Dealership
my sc was installed by local stealership in december on 2008 trd 4x4 lwb ext cab for 500 labor, 3800 for sc, 300 tax for about 4611 out the door installed. have had no problems except for the lead foot syndrome.....- zzchipster

thats what i had planned also, but it didnt go down that way...i really hadnt spent anything on truck until 49k(except bridgestone revos at 500 miles), u spend for bfgatko's, 5100's,red top battery,escort 9500ix,k&n,....its starts to ad up, 2.5k...then u think, should have kept the old stuff and...- zzchipster

i have a new set of bfgatko's 2657017 and they really did bite the asphalt. i could feel them buckling..i have wanted sc since i bought truck, now with 49790 miles its a reality. will add cai, 2.85 and gauges asap. just want to keep it under the required fuel mod at this time...i have noticed...- zzchipster
