Rev limiter setting

Just wondering what's the rev limiter set at. Mine seems to cut off at alittle over 5.5k. Has anyone safely set it to a higher setting?:hmmmm2:

Mine was 5,500 in the PreRunner and it is the same in my X-Runner.

wonder if they could just change the rev limiter without changing the fuel or timing....I wouldn't mind a couple hundred more revs
