Figure this place would be where I should ask a question.

Simple question.

2008 X and the battery seems to be weak.
What battery are there in the market that is better than the stock ones?

I know Optima Yellow Top is well known but seemed to have a charging problem with the battery tender when I was away (This may not be true......but really did not charge for some reason).

Any vendor that you know as well as a good battery info is appreciated!

Thanks

I've got an optima blue top and I love it. It's got extra studs on the top of the battery for connecting amps, winches, accessory lights or whatever

I'm a diehard guy. Went to sears to get the $98 battery. They told me they had it so I payed. Well they didn't so I got the high dollar one instead. I was stoked.

I switched to a Braille 21lbs after Toyota battery crapped out. Lighter weighted one would be sufficient but I wanted more reserved.

Thanks everyone for a great response.
It seems like not a lot of people are using the Optima Yellow Top.
I guess I am not a huge stereophile so I don't need something good like that I am assuming.

I park my car about 2 weeks every 1.5 months so was looking for a battery that keeps going.
Out of the selection that was mentioned here, I am liking the Interstate Battery the monst.
It can probably be purchased locally too right?

Braille does look good but a little pricey.
I guess you pay for what you get!

Gonna do some research!

Thank you all!

Nice, thanks for the heads up.
There are plenty of Firestones around here so I should be doing this during the weekend!

Just put in a new battery and somewhere along the line the ABS computer got fried. Anyone else have this problem?
