On the second day running the S/C system I lost all power, it felt like my egr valve was stuck open...
It was hot and humid, I was around 2k rpm fluctuating inbetween 2100 and 1700 rpm listening to a gargling sound in the ypipe and 3 inch exhaust wondering if that is normal or a rich or lean condition. Almost like the poping sound on a bike exhaust when decelerating closed throttle.
Anyway my CEL illuminated and I had nothing under the gas pedal...It cripled me to a slow crawl, it was starving for fuel. I shut her off and back on an hour later, it ran fine so I went to the garage. The code was a "stuck open throttle blade" It obviously self corrected but the code had been recorded into the ecu.
My mechanic said it was a fluke, shut off the code and its never been on since...
Has anyone encountered this code ever? Possible meanings?
I triple checked my ftc wiring, no wire goes to the throttle at all, and it was all correct.
