X-Panel (xk panel) install ?s

Ok, I finally got some free time so I'm going to go ahead and install the panels and just get all the equipment come tax return.

I've looked at all the pictures I could find, but nothing in terms of an actual write up. I'm just trying to find a starting point to start cutting so I don't take a chunk I need. I tend to have a bit of OCD when doing installs. So I'm aiming for a clean install any tips would be great.

okay decided to jump headlong into it. At one point I wished I had just gone for 4 12"s like I had in my frontier... lol.

But I'm getting there, just waiting on some epoxy to cure. Anyway, here's some pics.

Not bad for a custom box. No cash now but how big of speakers do they hold and what is shipping to 98387? Thats for the pair right?

The box will hold 10"s, and the upper portion will fit a 6.5". It's only around .5 cu.ft. for the box, so I'd look at shallow mount subs. I'm waiting for the new JLs to come out, then I'm going to compare between them and the Memphis S-Class

As for some more pics I'm going to try and get some this weekend. I have to finish a paper for English class so IDK when I will get around to it.

They are $500 USD plus shipping. If ups or a similar company will ship to Russia then yes but you cover the shipping cost. But unfortunately I don't have any sets made up at the moment.

yeah that was the main reason i chose this setup. Of course at that point in time there was only 4 of us, and the kids would just have to suffer being back there. Not too long after I installed just the panels we found out that we were having another. Can't fit 4 + a car seat in the XR. Had I known this before I started cutting my panels up I would have just gone for a custom vented box with 4 12"s again. Oh well, this setup will turn more heads at the car show next year. Hopefully I can get some small things finished in time.
