Looks like the XR is back for 2009 Yes!!!

Well im lookin into gettin a new 2008 X but im not sure after readin this.. im doubtfull because what if this isnt true and i wait and wait for the 2009 and it never comes out and the X gets discontinued after 2008.. such a hard decision..

Sound's like nobody is happy with there current X now that there is speculation that new one's are coming out. Just like K2 said a new car payment not to mention you might have to wait for new aftermarket parts to be released (that is if they change anything in the engine compartment). I'm happy with my X and will wait till the next new model comes out maybe 2012 or 2013, then maybe trade in or just keep my 06 and get a new model too (if they are still making them).

Depending on what I owe on my 07, if i can sell it for enough to pay off my loan, I will be upgrading. :rock: I hope they keep the 1GR so I can move all of my performance mods over.

well the best thing about the RR X is that its not only rare for being a RR, but every year it gets more rare cause of the fade changing the color. LOL :hahaha:

Everyone is jumping ship...I doubt half that stuff will be standard equipment...and I bet theres a price increase to go with it. I have a rear seat console its called a sub xclosure. Ceiling speakers don't sound cool that sounds like a sound staging nightmare. Free back up camera? ...my D3 has one. The taillights would probably swap out...so when someone wrecks one I can swap um. I'm good with my 68k 06

Oh and I already have black housing headlights....side airbags are dangerous for kids.

If all of those changes are made, some of those sound like they wouldnt apply to the X. Rear seat console? Sounds like double cab thing to me. Moving the speakers? That just dont make any sense, perhaps double cab only also.

belive 20% of what u hear and 30% of what u read i think thats how it goes i think they should stop my favorite part about the x is going to the local car meet and every one go what is that a tundra hahah and being the only truck when there is 20 subies 15 mustangs a bunch of hondas and srt4 and the only other toy is a supra :rock: so i say no more x's i like the fact i dont see any if i did i would never of found this forum id be with them talkin about the truck
