Sadly, I think Im gonna have to resign my place on the list of attending the meet. . i was out of work for 2 weeks and that really put a hurtin on my bills. This blows, I missed last years because I was out of a job.

But never fear, if in the next couple months the NE crew gets a meet together up in that area, Ill will try my best to make it up.

K2, is there a specific number of people that have to commit?

Around the 20 truck mark to make it a viable event.

so how are the tickets working..Are we going to get them before the event with our shirt...or do we get all that when we show up at the hotel?

Tickets and raffle tickets (if you ordered them) will be mailed a week or so before the event.

45+ XR's at one gathering would be sweet, but...is that really realistic? Instead of all these sayings like " 50/50 chance" "maybe", "hopefully" and such, let's see a show of hands for those that are serious and have actually bought their ticket:

I really hope that we start seeing some people commit to attending soon. If the numbers don't pick up substantially in the next 9 days (before the August 28 hotel block deadline), this event will be canceled. Common guys - we had 50 people say that they wanted to come, but only 10 have committed. It's interesting, the same thing happened last year:

I'm definitely coming, I have yet to purchase my tickets because the GF has now decided to come and need to decide whether we're going to the park or not.

Are most people going to the museum? Not sure that's something my GF would be excited about lol....

I wasnt sure about that either, but my gf said it would be fun so, im going to the museum and god knows I wont be able to leave till she goes to the chocolate park:laugh:

There will be an informal show and shine. I personally hated having to score all the truck last year with a mild hangover from the night before... that and I still haven't met my commitment to get posters to the winners from last year. I suck.

But I'm sure that we will have time like the past two years in the parking lot or similar area to do a walk around to all the other trucks and show off a bit.

I expect Steve to bring the entertainment... :biggrin:

Looks like the raffle ticket holders are almost guaranteed to win. You guys are killing me! I dunno if I'll be able to give away everything at X-Fest if more peeps don't want in the raffle. So far, only 20 tickets are sold.
