CANADA!!!!! get the rest on there. good progress man.

I'll be doing the rest tomorrow. I don't have any safety jacks or a lift here so I'll be doing it at our shop.

I drove it for a bit and here are my first impressions:

Nice low growl:top:
Super quiet at idle and cruising (80 mph) :top:

WOT - can't really tell. All I really hear is the S/C whine so a N/A guy could give a better review than me at WOT. With the windows down revving it sounds amazing too.... if I could get a decent video haha. :ahhhhh:

Right on man! So today you just got the catback bolted up? If so finish the rest in stages! Add the longtubes next, wait a week then add the y pipe so you can review everything! It will make you apprechiate the setup more, sure it will cost ya $10 in crush gaskets but oh well:top:

Just the catback today. As for the leaving the Y pipe or the headers, they will be both going in tomorrow. This is the only weekend I have off until play off ends, so it could be a long time.

One more question for you guys.

So with the URD Y pipe and the DTLTs I have 6 holes for sensors. I have 1 AFR gauge and 2 "hole fillers". Correct me if I'm wrong but the X has 2 stock sensors so if that is the case I don't have enough "hole fillers" to fill all the holes.

Here are the "hole fillers"

100_1125.jpg

What should I do or where could I get another exhaust hole filler? It seems to me I am going to have a massive exhaust leak without one of the holes covered.

Also which side and location should I put my AFR gauge?

Thanks again.

you have 2 o2 sensors on each side. the new gen DTLT's have a extra bung in the collector for wideband or moving your primaries back with URD's extended harness. you have enough plugs.

I found what you were talking about. Thanks for the info man. So the bottom O2 sensors will be used in the Y pipe and my AFR gauge in the middle and the top ones filled with the stock O2 sensors.

Thanks again for all the help XRU!

Wrafs in the headers. 02's in the farthest back holes other 2 in the midlle for your wideband or bands if ya got 2

Let's start with this... Did you order an extension harness from urd for the warf sensors??

Nope. G said it wasn't necessary and because I don't have an X1 or UCON EMS I would have no benefit from moving the sensors down. I think I have it all under control now.

Thanks again XRU.

You can get that tip centered up in the opening in the body kit a little better.

Simple to do. Loosen the clamps a little bit and take a pole or a handle from a floor jack and stick it into the tip opening and move it to where you want it and then clamp it.

Really crappy video with a cheap digital camera but here is one. I'll post the other video once it is finished uploading. Sorry for the crappy videoing. The camera keeps getting blown over by the exhaust:motz:

UPDATE - didn't go as planned today. Passenger side headers were a breeze to install but the driver side manifold was a huge PIA. I couldn't get the two of the bolts off so the truck will be going into a shop to get the driver side header installed. I didn't have the right tool to get at the two frontal bolts underneath of the manifold. The Y pipe was installed too. It was a good but it didn't butt up very nicely with the cat back. Can't really complain until the other header is installed. I started it up and damn was it loud. Sound like a race car.

The camera was literally 5 feet from the exhaust... and it was on a level platform. Digital camera wasn't aerodynamic enough for all of the POWA! haha.

Careful. Or you're going to become ......Because Race Truck II. ;)

Once I install the 12 performance track drop plus drop kit...... race truck all the way!

My trucks already there at the because race truck stage :canada:

Your truck isn't a race truck until it goes into Vex for everything to be installed:eviltongue:

I got it centred better today. I'm not really too concerned with the exhaust tip look until I have everything butted up with no exhaust leaks first.

Not too many drift events around me but I'm definitely going to give it a shot on the track. Some how I have feeling I will be going through a couple of sets of tires this summer haha. :rolleyez:

How loud is your X Kevin? It is hard to tell from the videos. I can tell you mine was REALLY loud!:ahhhhh:

Also with URD rear O2 simulator they connect with O2 sensors in the Y pipe? The URD connectors only work with the Y pipe O2 sensors and for some reason I thought they would be the top ones but I guess I was wrong.

You can hear my exhaust, in his car, over his motor and squealing tires...This is near WOT in a few areas.

Cruising its loud to most, but quite enough to hold a conversation...which was not possible before. Now if you open my back window....FAWK that...Its fun cruising around town, listing to it burble and backfire...but the droning on the freeway is intolerable:rolleyez:

random note...I did a canyon run, Friday night, with two Kia Forte's...i know...random as fawk...any who, the guy follwing ehind me said nearly everytime i would heal-toe or hit the rev limiter, it shot a fireball.

NOOOOOOO!!!! REAR

that would be very bad...your truck would not run.

the o2 sims simulate a proper functioning cat. Why would one change teh signal on the UPSTREAM 02's/afr sensors, that are BEFORE the Cats......c'mon Wilson, use that noggin...

haha. It was just one of those days... me ->:stupid: The first sensor is after one catalytic converter too:eviltongue: Where did you mount the sending unit? Probably zip tied to the cross member for you.

Get some vids of you heel and toeing! I would love to see some flames shoot out. I think I will be able to shoot some flames... cause I'm running richer than FAWK:thumbdown:

What kind of muffler do you have? If any, knowing you lol.
