Just did another dyno tune last week, but i think i need to go to another shop next time. I have seen people on here(with my same mods) say they are in the 250plus range. I am only in the 240-ish range. 241 HP is the best i have seen.

Some have posted the same numbers for HP as me, but they are getting like 290-ish torque. I am sitting right around 270-ish. 276 lbs. is the best i have seen.

I am guessing another shop that knows Toyota a bit better may be what i need???

Supporting mods are up and to the right!

Could be the type of dyno used as well as the type of correction factor. Climate and altitude will also play significant roles.

Also, here is a base dyno, for point of reference:

Stock XR - 191.7 WHP 231.6 WTQ

(base dyno from Scoutdeed69):

Its an old Mustang Dynojet or something like that. Thats what they tell me anyways. Just seems like i should be in that 250+ HP and 290+lbs. range.???

EDIT: Also, i am almost at sea level and it was about 70-ish degrees in the shop.

Mustang Dynos read a little lower than Dynojet. Mainly in the lower HP range.

Don't know where my dyno is but 451 rwhp and 402 tq with URD mk3 stage 3 system and all supporting kids are in my list

You have a bunch of "kids" running your engine?

Dyno numbers don't really mean crap....where it counts is at the track and your kill list.....time slips is where is at....

It's not up to date put some more info out!

I know its not up to date....that was for the noobs wanting to see pics of swap....a lot of ppl don't know the build thread exist .lol. Only a couple of changes have been mad since I finished. I'm getting back underway....heads n02 and whipple sc coming soon.

I agree for the most part, but it gives me an idea if my truck is running like it should. I dont really race anyone on the streets anymore and i only go to the track maybe once or twice a year. Shooting over to the dyno shop has really helped me with the pig rich problem i was having. Even though i was "beating" guys at the track or on the street i had no idea i was running so rich. So by getting results on a machine i was able to tune it and squeeze even more HP from the truck while safely leaning it out..

I can see why a guy with an ls1 prolly doesnt care about his numbers

I'm still goin to get it dynoed just for numbers...street tune is always better...you cause your actually pushing weight of truck not a 3000lb Dyno drum. I still want a sheet with pretty lily torque curve for bragging rights....can't wait to spinher to 7k
