Hoping to have an all wheel drive looking xrunner soon enough!!!:top: Have most of the body kit for my tacoma sport. As expected my wheel flares are different than the XR. The XR flares are something I don't have; deciding whether to custom fit the body kit to my exisitng flares or try and find some used xr flares. New XR flares are ridiculously priced:motz:

I could either dremel slots into the bumpers, etc.. and use the body kit tabs and clips or cut those tabs flush and somehow attach the top part of the body kit with adhesive... Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated; notice that most of the clips appear to be problems from breaking. Just trying to brainstorm here first; so any good ideas please post up.

I have the TR lowering kit on now; taking a look at this body kit addition... I'm liking the look nice and low.

pictures to come...

^^^This weekend for sure... got me some nice new kicks too... with some 275/55 R18 tires. Looks like getting some XR wheel flares are going to be difficult to get unless I go brand new:thumbdown:

^^^ did you cut off the tabs on the front 2 pieces of the body kit or cut slots into your bumper and use the tabs and clips?

if you look at the back side of the bumper it should have the slots pre placed for the xrunner tabs. Prerunner or xrunner bumper should all have this. Youll have to cut slots in your bumper. Also the flare from the prerunner wont line up with the body kit so it will have to be modified to work, that involves cutting it shorter and pulling it in a bit.

And I just relized that I cut my rear flares even with the body before that they were longer and hung down to attach to the skirts

Thanks for the pics man! It's looking like I'm going to modify the side skirts that touch my sport fender flares. They are a little wider; dremel will be my friend on this project. Don't want to deal with the holes in the body of the truck if I found some xr flares cause they are thinner.
Probably cut the slots out on front bumper though. The rear bumper looks harder to do cause its not just plastic.
I was expecting this body kit to weigh more than it does. This kit is stupid light weight!
Getting my new rims and tires today!

275/55 R18 on all four! My handling transformed into a sports car... I'm out slightly on these sport flares; so the x runner flares are now definitely not an option

Braking Bad... What are they using to secure the long plastic supports to the body for the side skirts? I have 1/2 inch holes under the body where the plastic supports should attach... Everything else seems doable... Going to take my front bumper off tomorrow and custom cut those slots
