So i just did a tune up with the amsoil thats so highly recamended. Just under 2qts in the tranny and 2.95 qts in the diff. I know the diff will hold 3.2 but i only had 3qts of it and spilled a little here and there with the oil pump. 5qts mibil 1 in the motor. Is that too much? I know the recamended is 4.6 or something but i figured an extra .4 qt wouldnt hurt.

The tranny shifts way better than before and the faint squeak in the clitch is gone aswell. Thanks for info guys

im changing the motor oil every 5000, the filter every 1500, the gear and diff every 2500. when i searched this site for oil recamendations mobile one full synth is what was most reccamended. is there a noticable difference between ams and mobile in regards to the motor oil?

Gear and diff every 2500 miles? Do you mean 25000? Your just throwing money away changing both every 2500...

lol u "gusy" but i was wondering why dont u throw ams oil in the motor? and when u change the filter, how oil comes out? i NEVER changed oil filters without oil change first! like id drain old oil, the replace filter then fill again! i bought a few oem filters but ams oil is suppose to last along time! thats why i was just goina change filters maybe once or twice before oil change

I used to use mobile one cuz I thought it was the best, I'm never going back now that I'm using amsoil. Gadget will tell you the same thing.

i used amsoil my last oil change and am now getting about 70 miles more per fill up! and throwing my truck into 2nd gear is really sticky when i rev her up. also when reving low 1st to 2nd makes a grinding noise. would amsoil tranny fluid help? or is it my clutch going?
