I am 12 and what is this drifting you speak of?????

Those tires smoke up good, what were they? I average about 10 runs or so per new set of tires. Really Depends or coruse set up and track surface. If the track biases one direction, chances are the will wear unevenly flip the tires left to right to make em last longer. :top:

the tires are Linglong L688's and here are a couple of the videos, these two are my favorites "you'll see why at 20 seconds into the first one :)", the angles kinda suck I'm not gunna lie. the rest are on my youtube page if you want to watch smoke and listen to me pegging the rev limiter lol

Hmm. did the tires chunk out at all? LIke did the tread wear evenly, or did huge bits of it just fly/fall off?

I've looked at those before, but i always go back to the Achillies..

P.S, the rev-limiter bashing+plums of smoke make me miss my truck even more... :/

Man, you can really see that body roll on the tire cam angle. As well as the axle shift from side to side. Crazy. Now I can really tell how much an improvement in handling Sdxrunner got, after installing that bar.

When he transitioned/spun out, I cirnged at how much the axle moved.... I can not stress enough how much the panhard bar helped in terms of vehicular control.

Are you talking about something like this? it's the URD Traction Bar

No. That is a traction bar, which helps prevent up and down rotation of the axle during forward acceleration. Prevents wheel hop in other words.

Dpartinvr4 has Caltracs. Which are in the link below.

http://calvertracing.com/cart/ymm.php?year=2006&make=TOYOTA&model=TACOMA

Sdxrunner's panhard bar is to prevent the axle from shifting from side to side, away from the centerline of the frame, while cornering. It keeps the axles centered.

That is not to be confused with a sway bar. Which helps prevent body roll.

About 40 seconds into this vid, there is my one and only shot I have of my rear axle post panhard bar. Last second before it cuts out is me transitioning. Notice it doesn't shift at all. This was before I had the coil overs and steel drop leafs.:top:

turns out my front right swaybar link is broken...probably explains this

and the tires wore even as far as i can tell, passenger side was worn a little more, but it was the leading tire for the big sweeper so it makes sense.
