Did you actually do a burnout in your driveway? What did the neighbors think of that lol

I only have one side neighbour and they love it

On another note, I gave my drag radials a try on the weekend.
On a rather unprepared strip, a decent static burnout on the concrete is needed, then they hook real well.
I found 20psi worked best for me, on our regional 1/8th mile airstrips, i'll drop tp 15-18psi I think

if you have to spin the clutch to hook up, whats the point of upgrading the clutch? just curious....

Because our stock clutches suck. Also, it is hard to get traction in these trucks. Let off the clutch at 1600 and see what happens. You will just sit there and spin. That is why you need to ride the clutch for launching.

I can get a 2.0 60ft on stock tires and these proxes I have on now. It works.
