I finally did it. I swapped in the 668 injectors and got the most recent E85 tune from APR.

Filled up 10 gallons of E85 tonight and went on my way to the track. Transition to E85 from 91 was very smooth. In fact I noticed nothing...it was just like gas but faster.

Right away I could smell it too. Smells like candy...very sweet:top:

I could tell on my 5 mile drive to the track it was faster.

65* outside so not very cold but good enough for now

Ran 3 consecutive 12.72's I will upload the slips tomorrow...dont have a still cam with me in phx right now.

60 ft 1.811

1/8 8.098 @ 85.16 mph

1/4 12.723 @ 105.94 mph

And my last and best run :rockon:

60 ft 1.766

1/8 8.087 @ 84.62 mph

1/4 12.720 @ 106.20 mph

Will could u tell me what that file name is for E85? Base is R5_668(I have the reflash that's why it's R5) just wanna know what the revision number is before I try to load this file tomorrow. I think I have the right one cause it was last modified 6/12/2010. I did send G an email also to see if this is correct. Also how empty were u before u added the E85?

Thx in advance

APR says that there is a 20% reduction in mpg with his map.

Make sure you have two maps, one for gasoline and one for E85. David says not to run gasoline on an E85 map; it can damange your motor.

All I burn is E85. We only have three E85 stations in the city that I am in. Fill up often.

That's not even close to what I have, mine is Tta40.04XF.R5_668.10 I believe. Not sure if that matters or not I may have an older file. Thx for posting it:top:

Well G was little help, he asked me to get the file from u Will so if u could please pass that file along I would appreciate it a lot. Send it to Grip95@comcast.net Figures at the last moment I can't find this E85 file that I've been holding onto since Feb of last year. The sooner u get this file to me the better as I have to make a road trip to help a fellow XRU member with an exploding clutch on his X, I'd need it before I leave to go meet him. Thx a ton!

That's FAST! Wish the X could hook up like this off the line, it would be crazy fast.

I heard you need to fill up E85 far more often then regular fuel, so I wonder on the long run if it's really that cheaper......
