I have been wanting a orbital buffer for a couple of months but never really had the spare change to fork out for one. Ms. Stevenredx has decided to get me the buffer and pads for our anniversary, thanks babe... can't wait to put this thing to the test.
I know this may not mean anything to some of you but here's what all I'm getting and I'm also going to switch up the polish and wax that i have been using.
Thanks to DS for some of the recommendations :top:
Porter Cable 7424
Sonus DAS FlexPlate, 5"
x2 = Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish & Wax Pad
x1 = Sonus SFX-2 Paint Polishing Pad (just in case i need it for any stubborn blemishes)
x2 = Sonus Microfiber Buffing Bonnet, Pkg/2
Sonus Der Wunder Wasche Foam Pad and Microfiber Cleaner
I'm going to give this polish and wax a try with the buffer, hear great things about the NXT
Machine Glaze
NXT Generation® Tech Wax® 2.0
Mirror Glaze Synthetic Spray Detailer
OK, i know most of you could care less about what I'm getting buy I'm excited to try this new stuff out, we all know the work that has to be done to keep the RR red and not pink.
