Ok, so I was planning on attending magically, but it seems I'll have to wait for another SoCal meet. My best friends wedding is on the 16th of July, and I'm the maid of honor.. sooooo I think it'd be sorta rude if I went somewhere else hahaha.

ok i've been thinking on the best way for this and this is the insurance policy I've think will help stream line this. So this is how it'll work;

I will be making a confirmed list to give to Jay to get the lowest rates possible at the hotel. Jay has let me and Brett know that once we get the list to him he'll get the hotel squared away. To get on the confimed list all you'll have to do is buy your ticket early.

What does this ticket get you?

The ticket will assure your dinner on Sat night and include your grab bag with itinerary, 1 raffle ticket and t-shirt.

Ticket pricing will depend on when you get it the time line will follow and pertains to the hotel as well.

$30 ~ March 14 - April 17 To get on confirmed list for hotel was well as lowest pricing on hotel rooms and for your ticket, plus 5 extra raffle tickets
$35 ~ April 18 - June 20 For ticket, plus 3 extra raffle tickets
$40 ~ June 21 - July 5 For ticket
$40 ~ July 6 - July 14 For dinner only no grab bag included

All ticket sales will be handled through PayPal once money is received you'll be added to the confirmed list. Please include your t-shirt size. The account being used to recieve funds is lenie_03@hotmail.com


Once Jay gets the confirmed list he can get the hotel pricing hashed out for those interested, if at that time you are not satisfied with the price of the rooms I'll issue a full refund to you and remove you from the confirmed list if requested until 2 weeks after that price is posted.

Please note that even though you're buying your ticket early in order to get the on the confirmed list you're still responsible for contacting the hotel when the go ahead is given to book your room, ie your booking your room not us. We're just keeping costs down for you.

So as of today only lenie and myself are on the confirmed list to be sent in, if your going to come to this you need to paypal the $30 to lenie so we know how many people are going to come to get the best rate. So if people didnt understand this the confirmed list will be extened to 22-apr-11 and the list will be turned over to jay on the 25th after that your on your own for a room

Like lenie said the reason for this list is so we dont screw over a fellow member who is sticking out his neck for us to get us a good room rate, So come lets get this going

I'm going back to driving trucks(long haul), don't like retirement. I'll see if I can get a trip going by Lake Tahoe for that week end. It's a 2400 mile trip( one way) to Tahoe and if I do it with the rig I can make some money at the same time. Might see you in Lake Tahoe and I'm sure I'll be in Calgary for sure. The company has a office in town.

I'll just be returning from hawaii on the july 10...depending on if we are slow (which i'm hoping) i'm going to shoot my way to tahoe to join you guys...but i'll keep you posted on my situation as the time gets closer...

I re-submitted my vacation request as some days opened up in July but haven't heard back from HR yet. I woulda jumped on the confirmed list but don't wanna create any b.s. if it turned out I couldn't make it. As of now I'll atleast be there for the weekend and will try to "influence" some az guys to convoy with me.

Agreed, it'll be fun either way. I used to hit Tahoe a few times a year and always had a good time. I gotta couple brothers in Carson city that are supposed to be meetin me there, aint seen em in years. Hope you boys like to drink, We'll be doin the Casino/bar crawl for sure.
