My first legitimate track photo. :adore: Great find 1GR. :top:

Do you have the engine or does darton

Darton does. They had to make a tool , similar to what Dezod did ( thank you Paul), to pull the crank trigger wheel. Then it came to where we are now, with figuring out how to limit the phase angle of the intake cam gears, due to the aggressive cam profiles that I have. So as not to have a valve to piston interference problem.

I'm still holding back any excitement, until I receive a bill of lading. As long as there no hiccups with our plan for the intake cam gears, then things should be on track for it to leave this week.

Which means that I need to put Clifford's engine back into his crate to free up my engine stand. Then the disassembly can begin.

Haven't yet started any teardown. Been to busy with work. On a good note though, going to be putting a spare set of heads and Clifford's engine to good work this weekend. Getting specs for cams.

I also ordered a Whiteline Front sway bar. Need more handling! Next, as far as suspension, will be stiffer rear springs in the rear, from the XR. At least until a possible 4-link setup. As well as a little stiffer up front. Then I need to find upgraded bushings. All in the name of reducing body roll. Which is quite prevalent in the picture which 1GRracer posted.

Here is the sway bar - http://www.frsport.com/Whiteline-BT...justable-Toyota-FJ-Cruiser-07-10_p_34886.html

They were doing some machining on the intake cam gears, to finish up locking of the phaser. Once finished, then they area on to setting up the timing. :top:

None of that sounds like it was supposed to ship this week.

Here are the latest pictures from Darton, as of a few hours ago. Enjoy the eye candy. :D

Inching closer to completion!!!

The machinist who has been working on my engine had an injury last week. He is doing better, and back at it this week. Still have some cam timing to sort out, but it is nearly finished.

Idk but can you sneak the coolant tube between the heads? and the knock sensors and harness. I always put that in first then the heads
