I put mine on the inner fenders beside the battery and the washer fluid reservoir. :top:

I used adjustable ring clamps and mounted them to the tops of the bumper supports.

Well, I wouldn't mount them so they a direct splash from the tires or wide open to the front grill, but they can get wet. Usually behind the radiator support is a good place.

Kinda where I put mine, I put mine in front of each of those and on a horizontal piece of steel. The fogs I had those mounted on top of the aluminum bumper brackets. Yes they can get wet, they're water proof.

i put my fog light ballasts on the side wall of the engine bay behind the washer reservior and battery like NHXRUNNER and my head light ballast is mounted with brackets. i drilled out the bracket holes and bent it 90 degrees and mounted it under one of the headlight bolts on the top in the front so it hangs right behind the headlight

do the kits from ddmtuning.com come with brackets? or do you have to order them seperate? cause the ones I had on my Cobalt came with mounting brackets, but I got them from buyhids.com

I got mine and my wife's from DDMTuning.com because they're cheaply priced and both ballast and bulbs are warrantied for life. That's like a sore dik, u can't beat it!
As far as the 10,000K goes, they won't be that bright because of how hi up the Kelvin scale they are and they will look Purple.

I got the 55 watt 5,000K and they are bright white which is perfect for me. For my wife I got her 55 watt 6,000K and they're too blue for my liking but look good none the less. U can't go wrong with anything from DDMTuning.com, I also got my map light LEDs from them and they're über bright. Very happy with my purchases with them and will continue to do business with them.

U have to order them separately for like $5 but I ended up not using them and using double sided 3M tape instead.

Thanks for the input, man. I had 8,000K on my Cobalt and they were pretty blue, but I think I want brighter blue. I'm finishing my order up for my HIDs at DDMTuning.com right now, but I already put an order in to superbrightleds.com for all my interior LEDs.

Well if u want bright headlights then u need to go with 5,00 or 6,000 K, anything above them gets less bright and turns purple like I mentioned already

+1 on that 3m tape. I wouldn't put too much effort into it, put some 3m tape on em, clean the surfaces with alcohol and slap those bitches somewhere. I had em held on my g8 like this for almost 3 years and still rock solid. In fact when one of my ballasts went bad for my headlight in the X, I had it mounted to the washer fluid tank and I thought I was gonna damn near pull the whole tank outta the truck trying to get that ballast off. And Ddm tuning is great, sent me a brand new ballast no questions asked.

I'd say agree with it and don't be mad, honestly getting mad at a comment like that is just stupid. It's a joke and should only be taken that way. But to be honest, it is a girlz car, it's front wheel drive and a Chevy.....that's pretty bad in my eyes lol. But congrats on getting the XRunner, u my friend have just bought a mans truck, ain't nothing girly about a rear wheel drive, lowered, 6 spd manual, LSD pickup truck made by the best foreign car manufacturer in the world.

Since the Cobalt had boost do u plan on boosting the XRunner? Was that car S/C'd or was it a newer turbo'd model? So if u do plan on boosting the XRunner may I suggest getting the TRD roots style blower. I chew up and spit out Cobalt SS's all day long with my X.

I wasn't really mad.. I forgot to put the 'lol' after I said that.
and I was wanting to boost the X, but I just wanna get the stupid clutch squeak fixed before I do anything. and the Balt was supercharged.. stock though

and I raced a stock X in my Balt and I just barely beat it.. I can imagine how it would be with a boosted X
