What else does your Volks have written on them? Mine has Forged, Monoblock, Volk Racing, Ray Engineering and made in Japan in that order. I'm kinda curious to see if Volks changed the order of the writing since back when my wheels were produced haha.
I'm thinking it'll look even better with an oem spoiler, jaos grill, and jaos front splitter (track use only). I'm looking into getting bronze lug nuts. I found that rays offer a 4 pack so if I get that with the regular 20 pack then I'm golden. I think bronze will look nice on silver.
Looks good with the new rims.... But why didn't you go with a bigger rim?...Increasing your rim height, and therefore decreasing your sidewall height would have done WONDERS in increasing steering response, high-speed grip/stability.
Now this all assuming your not just gonna lower your tires overall height at run a shorter tire setup... And lowered her about 6"'s...She would look amazing. If so...carry on :crinklehair:
The 4r could not handle a 6in drop... It would in turn, like the Xr's, need a notch. Either C- notch or fram notch to include a body notch for the rear cargo area. The truck sits high for offroading more than anything. She can travel up all you want her to but barely any down. The recommended max drop the folks in japan recommend is 2in. And let me tell you i understand why. Not to mention i didnt even go into the fron section.....a DJM arms would be awesome for the front.
We'll see. I'm liking the factory limited wheels for 18's I really wanna get better tires for these new wheels. Try and experiment. I wanna focus on getting a little more power, brakes, LSD, seats and the radio.
