I doubt that the URD will rape it also. BUT if the URD pulls a decent amount of lengths on it then Id prefer the power and sound of the URD over the TRD. However if the TRD is close (with in a length or so) or dead even that would be awesome!

If they are close now; when that TRD pulley comes out its going to beat the URD truck like a stepchild.

the trd will get to 60 quicker than the URD with ease. even my 9psi URD wouldnt catch it to 60 from a dig. from a roll, i think it will be closer if the race started at 50mph + so the URD can stay in boost.

i dont know for sure, but, if anyone wants to make a friendly bet ill break 13's at the track dec 1st bring it:biggrin:

Bigger pulley, eh? Bigger is usually better, but in this case, it's worser:rock:

usually.......

im making a BIGGER crank pulley. TRD added a extended stud, and a crank pulley thats only function is to spin the blower. TRD can have a fancy pulley on the SC, but, the crank pulley the user puts on anyways! bigger crank.....faster the blower spins, and its not traceable:biggrin:

With real estate it's location, location, location.
With the XR it's traction, traction, traction....and the XR doesn' t have much.
So yeah, I would tend to agree...sub 14 sec. ET's are unlikely, but we shall see.

People be holding their breath until then, that's for sure.
That being said, since traction is the main issue, why would the TRD beat your 300 hp+, itsy bitsy teenee pulley, meth injected beastie from yesteryear, which if I remember right did, only mid 14's? Not sayin' it won't...just not understanding why it would.

just gonna have to make up for it on the last 1/8 mile a little extra power........

If you watch his video he pulls to about 93 in like 10 seconds. jaxchrisfla ran the 1/4 in 14.6 @ like 92/93 N/A.

If I was to take a guess at his ET & MPH this is what I'd say:
If he can get a good 60', say 1.9-2.1, I'm thinking he's gonna run a 13.5 @ 101.
A less then great launch, 2.1-2.3, probably 14.1 @ 96.

So lets see how close I am come race time... :top:

His logic is bigger crank pulley would be better because if you blow you engine, TRD would be looking to see if the S/C pulley had been removed and replaced with a smaller one, rather than checking a crank pulley, which would not be traceable if you put the original one back on.

exactly......TRD marks the pulley on the SC to see if it was tampered with. the crank pulley is just a normally pulley that can go on and off all day long........:smile:

edit- for the record, i know im not normal:laugh:

having never taken off a crank pulley how difficult is it:dontknow: about how long does it usually take 1-2 hrs?
