Looks great! What kinda paint did u use on the plastic and are u worried about it scratching or chipping off from the usual contact from daily use?

Plastidip is garbage. At least it didn't turn out so well for me. Lol. Fail.

i like! gray gets too dirty too quick. im just worried it would come off and look tacky after a while. if it holds well for you then im going to do it!

just looked up that paint, looks legit enough. im going to do it!

i may be a copy cat but its a damn good idea lol :top:

The SEM stuff is great. Nice coverage, and nice adhesion (as long as you prep well).

Make sure you keep some extra around if your painting your whole interior. You'll need to do occasional touch-ups, but they are very easy thanks to the way that stuff sticks & dries smooth.

how should you prep it? sounds kinda funny to sand vinyl, should you just make sure its clean or what? and what about the plastic interior parts? i guess all you can do for carpet is make sure its clean. i might just order the TRD offroad floormats

Right on bro! looking good!! im glad i was an inspiration!! hehe what i found out is that if you use the plastikote, i got that from carquest and plastic primer works good. i also had to use the green scour pad -> clean -> alcohol ->Plastic Primer -> adhesion promoter -> plastic paint from home depot -> then bumper black. good luck and lmk if you need any help!

for prep i bought a light cleaner and just made sure all the parts were clean and had no oils or residue on them, then painted, and in my opinion it all turned out awesome and very factory looking, all the texture is still there and looks amazing.
