Dodge will keep the Viper

I can't find an internet link, but the latest Motor Trend has some details on Chrysler's plans for the Viper. The goal is to stay with 10 cylinders and maintain a production target of 500 per year.

Also a paddle-shifting dual clutch may be in the works.

I'm no Dodge boy but I think this is good news for all car junkies. :top:

Thats good news. I must say no matter how much I do not like dodge, I have always loved the vipers and srt8 chargers :adore:

Yeah the SRT division is one of the good things about Dodge.

The article said that Fiat's controlling interest in Ferrari helped keep the Viper program alive. Fiat's CEO realizes the Viper is like a halo car.
