My rear tires were BALD and the fronts had lots of cracks in the sidewall. It was time for new tires.
I have been having a serious traction problem in the rear so I wanted more tire to stick the power. Of course that required a wider wheel...
So, here we are:
I followed K2's lead on the wheels and went with Varrstoen ES2 in HyperBlack with a staggered setup:
19x9.5 22mm offset 255-40-19 front
19x10.5 22mm offset 295-35-19 rear
Just got back from a test drive and it does have a bit more grip in the rear. Will get to test out the cornering at the upcoming event at VIR end of the month.
