January/February 2008 : TOP RiDE
Ntinhri's 2005 BSP X-Runner
The Story behind the Ride:
I have always like toyotas. Before the X, I owned the following toyotas: 1986 2wd, 1986 4x4 (lifted), 1983 4x4 (lifted), 1980 4x4, 2000 pre runner v-6, and 2002 4x4 s/c'd taco. Driving past the dealership on the way to work I spotted one on the lot. So at lunch I went to drive it and fell in love. Since I had purchased my 2002 there I told the general manager to hook me up. I knew most of the guys at the dealership by first name since they were always in Lowe's and it is a small community. So I stopped at the dealership on my way home and they worked a great deal for me. It turned out they already had a buyer for my truck. So that night I drove my new Xrunner home. I really like the way the truck handled so I started autocrossing. I enjoyed autocrossing so much I wanted to race/showoff my truck even more I started racing at Langley speedway. Since racing my truck I have joined the TRD sponsership program, won time trials, burnout, and A and B main events at Langley. Funny little thing not alot of people know is when I'm racing my truck I refer to it as a fat girl. She is a challenge to get her between the cones and she so damn heavy. Just another reason why my tag is so darn funny! Truck is currently at 320.4 hp and 333 ftlb at the rear wheels.
