How I Got My X-Runner:
Prior to June 2009, when I acquired my truck, I had a '97 Dodge Dakota. I hated it every time I had to drive the thing because it sucked oil and gas like no tomorrow. So when it was time for a new ride I knew I didn't want to go down that path again at 12mpg. So after basic training and a year tour in Korea they ended up sending me stateside to Fort Bliss. It was time for a new ride. I was originally looking for a manual trans Tacoma extended cab but the dealer searched around and said there weren't any for miles. Well I was determined to find one cause if I was gonna pay for a newer used vehicle I was gonna get exactly what I wanted. A friend of mine from the army gave me a ride to the local Toyota dealership. I took this baby for a test drive and basically never looked back!
