No, you are on the edge of getting a check engine light for a lean condition.

You are using up the control authority in the stock ECU for keeping the fuel mixture at 14.7:1 AFR.

The reading from the MAF is way off.

See, I told you he knew better than me. Lol.

You sir need a flow straightener before the maf sensor.

Could you also take a picture of the intake routing, if it changed?

I had one. It didn't do anything and I didn't like the fact of it being in there like that. Yea I'm gonna take a few pics and I'm also gonna put the stock filter and pipe on that my truck was originally tuned on and see if that fixes the problem if not I'm gonna try and find a Tacoma to swap out mafs with. See if that helps.

Okay. Here are the pics of how my piping runs from the turbo to the maf and intake.

And then I tried this way. The way I had it set up when G tuned it for me.

And here's the video of the idle fuel trim. Not much different. My buddy is coming over in a few and I'll try a different maf.

Try rotating the tube with the MAF sensor a few degrees at a time and retest. I bet you can drive that number more toward zero once you find the sweet spot clock position.

What did you do to correct it, and when does the tuning start?

I loosened both couplers on the pipe with the maf sensor, and turned the truck on so I could read the trims on the ultra gauge and just slowly rotated the maf until the fuel trims looked better. Tightened up the coupler clamps and it was good to go.

waiting for g to chime in to see how to get started on the tuning.

So excited! I think I have the biggest turbo on a tacoma. That I know of. Can't wait to see what it has!

I checked out your turbo last night. Rated for 6-800hp. Definitely plenty of room to grow into with that. You planning to build your engine sometime down the line?

That size and A/R, you definitely won't have any backpressure problems.

Yea its a big turbo. All top end.. and yea I wanna build it. I'm looking at a company to take our open deck block and close it. Not sleeve it. So once I save up some more cash I'll be picking up an engine and starting that process..
