oh yeah I would agree I mean you have to figure in what oil is doing and without one how hot it gets with the stuff I put together it should be a great setup and
it will help reduce temps for everything to make the vehicle run a lot smoother

awsome well i cant wait to c it i wana do the same

ok well did the install today and it went well the only issue i had was the way the plate fits i did have to chop the oil neck to get it to fit. the new oil consumption is right around 6 quarts depends all on how long your lines are what oil cooler your using etc etc. i mounted it to the frame rail by the drivers side head light what i used to do it you may not like im not going for looks going for performance and reliability. i used a little kit that autozone has called a exhaust pipe securing kit was really easy again not pretty but it works! i ran the lines through a convienient hole located by the a/c line in front and since they are so close to the ac line i took like a fluid hose and put it on the a/c line where the oil cooler lines meet to prevent it from rubbing on each other. this is a very simple install and there isnt really many things you can do to mess it up but you HAVE TO reduce the lip on your oil filter mount. I have included a little video footage of my setup and i have had no cel's or any other issues so far drove it from the garage to home and no issues! any questions or comments feel free to pm me if you need any specific info.

Nice work Butters. Another option to give you more room would be moving the horns to the inner fender up past the battery.

Cool. For future reference you'll have to post the lines and fittings you went with. Tho I'd want a blank radiator. :top:

the lines and fittings are 10AN I said it earlier in this post don't go adapting down to 8AN just save the money and buy the bigger lines it's gonna be worth it also they sell it in feet on eBay and for cheap. If you do it like I did you will need two 2 1/2 foot pieces just depends where and how you wanna mount

dude I will tell you my housing looks like dog crap and I really don't care I removed half of it with a cut off wheel. I will say it may have been easier to remove it and cut it but IMO I just wanted the oil cooler to work so lol
