VIR Track Day - May 4-5

I let that Malibu by just so I could run him back down. I was very surprised that it was kind of hard to keep up with him. I had a Malibu like that as a company car a few years ago and it totally sucked. That car is not stock at all.

Need to check with 1GRRacer about that gizmo for the air bags so we can swap in good seats. My left knee is sore from pressing it into the door trying to hang on.

The Corbeau seats come with provisions for the airbag sensors for the Tacoma. :top: At least '05-'08.

Hey I offered foam for everyone's knee lol. Yeah my seats keep you planted, if and when I go to the tracks out west I'd like to add a four point

I always tell people it's the most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels. Well worth every penny spent. All you guys on the fence just need to get your asses out there next time.

We were talking at the event trying to find ways to get more people to attend.

This is not cheap to do this and that may be a barrier to some, but it should not keep you from showing up and jumping in with someone and ripping around the track.

For the next event lets try to get some more people show up even if they are not going to run their own vehicle. Trust me you will have a lot of fun!!

Having people show up is a great idea, if your able to even ride along with those that come you will have the greatest time. The avg. amount spent for a single driver for a event like we went to is prob around 700-800 dollars (track time,lodging,gas,food, incidentals). Which is a good deal for the time on track and fun had. But if you can't come up with that cash, I say like G, mike,Jeff as well come take a ride. Even if it for one day. And that's free.

I would have come all the way from Florida if it was in June or later, but I teach in a High school and May is just too early.:frown:
