True, the XR was not designed for the straight line.. not by a long shot. And I have only further moved my truck from being good at launching.

But with that in mind I still have my stock leaf springs.. I am going to get them de-arched, while removing a leaf, that setup with a balanced shock will soften up the rear end a lot. And that will be needed (along with tires) if I want to run a 12.xx pass.

Yep, with a good driver I've seen 15.0's stock. Fastest known 1/4 from a stock X is 14.9 (as far as I know).

The only advantage they have over us is a launch.. I've seen quite a 1.9 60' times from pre-runners.. but at the 1/4 mark they are running the exact same as an XR with a 2.1 60'.
